So who will be heading down? I will be there with the wagon. Would be nice to see a few other faces down there too!

Get any photos? I would have come, but my nice cars didn't play ball and the Levin is not really worth going to such things in

Yeah I will post photos later on. There was a lot of trash down there but then a lot of sick cars at the same time! Vege markets were supposed to have finished and left early but hat didn't happen so it delayed things big time. Traffic was at a gridlock for ages!

One lonely cop walking around writing notes down in his book ... Needless to say he wasn't liked very much

Looking forward to seeing the pics, Matt, as I would love to go and see the variety of cars at one of these so called 'hardparks' but again, I didnt attent, solely due to the trash you referred to.

And the Policeman who was walking around with a notepad wasnt the only one taking notes...There are so many other scumbags at those types of events, doing nothing more than scoping out rego details, alarm types, what parts are in everybodys cars, what wheels and lock nuts you have etc, so they can work out what tools they will need for their next theft targets.

Its a big shame too, as the car scene 'shouldnt' be that way, but sadly, a large proportion of it is. Luckily, very few, if any, of that ilk turn up to track days, so our cars are far less exposed to that bad element.

Glad to hear your car is up and running though, mate, it must feel great driving it all legal after so long :)

So true, even if a paddy wagon showed up, i'd still be more concerned with the other prying eyes....

That V8 Cressida is choice.
The Mazda mini truck is a 2 week project, which has now taken close to 3 years I guess? He's got a video blog of the build on YouTube, its quite well done.

That mk1 cortina is pretty tidy and original, dont see them much anymore. Seen that blown torana around quite a bit. Always alot of bagged 63,64 chevs nowdays, so common.

The Mk1 Cortina has come out racing at a couple of local events too.

He spun it up a footpath at the Port Road street sprints.
