Here are the test times from the 3rd day in Barcelona....

1. Fernando Alonso Spain Ferrari-Ferrari 1min 21.875secs 97 laps
2. Nico Hulkenberg Germany Sauber-Ferrari 1min 22.160secs 91 laps
3. Romain Grosjean France Lotus-Renault 1min 22.188secs 119 laps
4. Nico Rosberg Germany Mercedes-Mercedes 1min 22.611secs 108 laps
5. Pastor Maldonado Venezuela Williams-Renault 1min 22.675secs 79 laps
6. Valtteri Bottas Finland Williams-Renault 1min 22.826secs 68 laps
7. Jenson Button Britain McLaren-Mercedes 1min 22.840secs 71 laps
8. Adrian Sutil Germany Force India-Mercedes 1min 22.877secs 78 laps
9. Mark Webber Australia Red Bull-Renault 1min 23.024secs 108 laps
10. Jean-Eric Vergne France Toro Rosso-Ferrari 1min 23.366secs 106 laps
11. Max Chilton Britain Marussia-Cosworth 1min 25.690secs 58 laps
12. Giedo van der Garde Holland Caterham-Renault 1min 26.177secs 93 laps

Every driver is seeming to struggle with the softer Pirelli compounds they have made for 2013, and degredation is going to be even more extreme than last year, with Perez even proclaiming that they are so bad that they will be doing 7 to 10 pitstops come Melbourne...

Final day of the test is today but rain is expected...

Looks like I am on SKY tv, internet is too slow for streaming.
Hope they stick with showing all of the practices this year to give some value for money.

What connection have you got?

I find streaming almost always tolerable. The occasional need to refresh the window but generally its fine.

Im only on a telstra 10mb connection I think.

I pay for sky anyway, just so I can record all the sessions in perfect quality.

Barcelona Testing Day 4, Best Lap Times – Sunday 3 March 2013

P Drivers Cars Times Gap Laps

1 N.Rosberg Mercedes 1.20.130 121
2 F.Alonso Ferrari 1.20.494 +0.364 120
3 J.Button McLaren 1.21.444 +1.314 122
4 N.Hulkenberg Sauber 1.21.541 +1.411 118
5 K.Raikkonen Lotus 1.21.658 +1.528 50
6 P.Di Resta Force India 1.21.664 +1.534 112
7 P.Maldonado Williams 1.22.415 +2.285 42
8 S.Vettel Red Bull 1.22.514 +2.384 100
9 V.Bottas Williams 1.22.524 +2.394 31
10 C.Pic Caterham 1.23.115 +2.985 116
11 J.Bianchi Marussia 1.23.167 +3.037 62
12 D.Ricciardo Toro Rosso 1.23.628 +3.498 91
13 M.Chilton Marussia 1.26.314 +6.184 49

Every team still has no real grasp on the tyres so unless Melbourne is 30deg plus, graining and multiple pit stops are all but guaranteed.

It certainly looks like there is even less of a gap now between the top 5 or 6 teams, so I think 2013 is going to be a great send off for the NA V8's and this generation of car, before "the future" arrives in 2014.

Not a good one, Just put in a new modem and cleaned up the wiring and call logged with Telecom about SNR ratio. I bounce between 200kbps - 500kbps up and 500kbps -1.6mbps down.
Just booked Sky in. The Sky coverage we get is actually quite good, I just don't like having to pay for all the other channels I never watch. Should be allowed to just get the sport channels only.

1 more week...

You are right, apart from the fact they dont use the SKY UK feed, and have none of the build up shows, oh and their occasional last minute rescheduling, and bumping of sessions to replay some golf or netball, their coverage is spectacular.

Having all the GP3 and GP2 coverage is awesome too, as they are the stars of tomorrow (provided they can bring 10 or 20 million for a seat)

Roll on Melbourne...tick...tick...tick...tick...:)

Looks like it might be wet all weekend too, that should make things interesting. Still looking forward to it.

I hadnt checked the long range forecast but that is going to throw a massive spanner in the works for all the teams.

No team is even close to understanding the tyres yet, so the last thing they need is wet sessions to compound the issue.

Even with the Melbourne race being somewhat of a lottery most years, 2013 sounds like its on target to be the most exciting yet.

Roll on friday lunchtime for the build up show :)

Someone was saying on the F1 show that Melb isn't much of a gauge for pace also. Odd setup I guess.

Yes thats very true.

Its because the track is made up of multiple different types of asphalt, none of which is proper FIA spec macro/micro, it also has many areas in fulll shade under trees, and is absolutely filthy due to being a public road for the rest of the year, with fords and holdens dripping oil all over it.

Great recipe for struggling engineers all weekend :)

Another awesome start to the season! Great weather and great cars. Was an excellent start apart from vettel being up front. Weird with Hamilton going off and rosberg pulling over haven't heard yet if it was a car failure.

Rosbergs issue was a gerabox failure, and Hamiltons car apparantly had an issue with the front splitter which caused him to go off.

They were saying a 60% chance of showers for both quali and the race so that could spice things up a bit.

The supersofts have thrown up a huge issue for the teams though, as the only last a few laps, so effectively are nothing more than a quali tyre. Now whoever qualifies on them will have to stop within the first 5 or 6 laps, which is going to drop them right back into the middle of the feild...not what you want at Melbourne as everyone from 11th back will already be on the medium...

Local weather report here is saying showers between 4 and 7 tonight quali is at 5pm here so I better buy a jacket.

Yeah read about hamilton's failure this morning. Didn't see any mention of rosberg's?

Be good to see the end of p3 I feel a couple of the teams haven't shown all they can yet so should be a good afternoon!

Oh well, that was a bit of an anti climax, with quali being essentially rained off, after Q1 was over.

Q2 and Q3 will be run at 11am Melbourne time, so 1pm here, hopefully sky cover it on TV.

There are alot of disappointed drivers though who knew that the rain was the best chance they had to outperform their dry weather grid positions.
