Automania 2012 was one of the premier outdoor events for the New Zealand car scene last year. This year the event has grown and moves around to the larger side of the North Harbour stadium, this allows us to expand the event further, adding in many more attractions and entertainment

Automania 2013 will have much of the same as last year and much much more. The day will be packed full of different forms of Entertainment all scheduled throughout the day.
Whether it’s checking out some of the insane cars on display from the rumble of the old school v8s, the raspy horse power of the Japanese rockets, the brutality of the Smoke machines that are the D1NZ drift cars to Jamming at the main stage listening to MC MAS and Synergy Sound System or a selection of other live bands and Dj’s, checking out the Trade Stands and snapping up some of the Automania deals on the day from our sponsors or testing your might at the Strong man competition or even watching “The car in Hell” getting smashed to pieces and run within an inch of its life or getting your Bones rattled at the Hotwire DB Drag there is going to be plenty to do, see, feel and experience.

-This is a fully sanctioned SPL Sound off event

Automania 2013 Competitors Brief:

Firstly we want to say Thank you for attending the show, we have put together as much as we possibly can to bring what we feel is the best automotive festival you will attend all year!

When you arrive if you want to park with your club or mates you all need to arrive together, Hooton reserve is less than 500 meters away from the stadium and would be the ideal spot to meet up beforehand. If you have not paid please make sure you have cash with you we do not have eftpos facilities on the gate.

Please make sure you reverse your car into the space, once you have parked up feel free to setup any display you may have brought with you. If you have a Gazebo there is plenty of grass to setup on close to the RC track. If you remove your bonnett be sure to put it safely behind the car out of the way of everything.

There will be food available from multiple outlets all day, please do not bring any Alcohol, Dogs or BBQ’s as stadium rules do not allow it.

If you are planning to have your car washed in the bikini car wash please park up in the show first, and then go and check in with the team that are running that attraction. Any cars that are getting washed cannot be moved through the car show without an escort from that particular team. Due to obvious public safety reasons.

Once you have entered the car show and parked up you cannot move your car until after the prize giving has ended, approx 4:30pm (there is a very large crowd in attendance and at no times can cars be moved until the show is over)

Be sure to head over to the Platinum Wheels Trade stand and VOTE in the Peoples Choice car of the day, at the prize giving we will be drawing out one lucky name who will walk away with a brand new set of wheels and tyres thanks to Advanti racing and Platinum Wheels!
