Has anyone ever used any sort of antibacterial treatment to stop the air conditioning/heater ducting from smelling mouldy? Every time I turn the blower on, it stinks for a couple of minutes, I'm going to replace the cabin filter but is there something else I should use as well?

There is an aerosol product at Repco which is quite effective. Can't remember the name of it now 
but its about $30 a can

If a shot of that spray and a new filter don't fix it, thats' the next port of call.

one trick i learnt a while back was to run the heater at full on recirc with all the windows up for around half an hour and get it real hot.... apparently the heat dries up any moisture and kills bacteria.
Worked well in a couple of my cars in the past.
