DBA/Brembo source in Auckland. Which pads?

Postby sergei » Tue Mar 26, 2013 7:20 pm

Who is the cheapest DBA or Brembo source in Auckland?

I am after aftermarket rotors (plain or slotted) for my STI, as well as aftermarket pads (good quality, that will take spirited driving).
I will start with BNT and PartMaster, but I don't know which brand of pad to choose (with ST205 it was simple, just go with OEM).

OEM Genuine is out of the question.
I just seen "trade" prices for genuine STI rotors and pads..... see for yourself:
Front Pads $624.23 INC a set
Front Rotors $902.12 INC each 8O

WTF?

In comparison ST205 rotor (very similar in size) is ~$130 ea and ST205 pads ar $65 set.

i put bendix ultimates in my gtst, was quite happy with their flexibility (ie good performance from cold)

they were retailing for about $200 a set at the time, but trade was about half that. BNT sell them.

i'd buy them again
