altezza roof trim thingy

Postby offensive » Fri Apr 19, 2013 11:13 am

okie so i was driving home yesterday and i heard a wee bang, and saw a long piece of rubber trim flinging about. Wasnt far from home and i find its the roof trim that goes from font to back.

all it seems to do is just fill a channel so whats the deal with this thing? is it important? how to fix? just a bit of silicon goo where it was attached and be done with it?

my Altezza never had either of the roof trims on when purchased, couple of years later & it still doesn't, haven't seen any issues with not replacing it as of yet.

if memory serves me right the trim (when there) sits flush with the front / rear screens so will play the role of stopping water pool in the channel.

if you still have the trim slap some silicon in there to reattach it, used this method on the trueno (previous) with the monsoon shield things & it held fast no worries at all
