Yep, it injects straight E85. No water.
There is a manual arming switch, and a float level switch wired in series. So if the fuel level goes too low, or I disarm it, the system deactivates.
The car was already tuned at the low and high boost levels. So it was just getting the E85 injection tuned.
I was expecting $300-$400, but there was a high boost misfire when they put it on the dyno(even with the E85 system turned off). So with new coils, labour for wiring and two dyno sessions, it eventually blew out to ~$800.
The injection system cost about $200 to put together. I had most of the parts, so only needed to buy the hose/fittings and fuel filter. Half of that cost was gas to tig the alloy tank.
