Mazda owners poll

Postby iOnic » Wed Mar 20, 2013 11:05 pm

Since no one here owns a Toyota anymore and the run-bearings brigade have their own poll. This is one to see just how many people own Mazdas here. And coz I'm bored. Mostly that one. Rotary powered other things count.

Never driven or been in one but they have potential. Apparently torque steer is quite an issue though

And lol at Cavalier, they are the benchmark for shit

Hence boost is limited in 1st and 2nd or if the steering where is over a 20 degree angle in the BL's, should really get that removed /don't want to die.

Yep, BLs are much nicer to drive than BKs, but I went for the GG 6 MPS.
I used to own a RX8 before (that was the car that converted me).

I started with toyotas and went to rotarys. I owned 3 and I love them. Will always go back to toyotas though as a daily or tow vehicle

Mazda is one of those Japanese companies that were always pretty shitty in the reliability stakes when I was growing up and I wouldn't touch one,

They have come a long long way and I would quite happily own certain models now.

Owning an RX2 coupe/and a 4 door, through my teen years was enough for me to get the buzz out of my system.

Their new cars do look nice, but that wouldnt be enough to drag me from my supra, and grandpa spec camry :)

Have a 2000 Capella wagon as a daily / family car. Simple, comfy & reliable. My only gripe with it is the 4spd auto. God I wish it had another gear!

Bringing this up from the dead - even though it's still one of the top threads in here ;)

I had been looking for a replacement daily for ages and finally settled on a Mazda of all things. I've had it for a few days and absolutely love it, it's a brilliant all arounder and actually fair goes like stink. Glad I did my research before buying it, of course - a few wee things to be sorted out as preventative maintenance and also to guarantee minimum frustration when encountering otherwise faster cars ( ;) ) but good times ahead :)

Meet my new wee 2007 Mazdaspeed Axela, 2.3litre turbo FWD:
