hey all im in need of getting bigger brakes for the front of my ke70 wagon its currently 205rwkw hopefully soon to be 250-300 so i have a funny felling ill require bigger brakes for a cert it still has the std front brakes and the rears are hilux drums the rear out brakes the front by far so any help on what i can do here would be great im wanting to go bigger anyone have any experience with these your input is greatly appreciated

man those are sexy. i did find an adapter for some fd/fc rx7 4 pot calipers for $300 on ebay. the adapters are for an ae86 but from what ive gathered they are they same as a ke70

That's pretty good, yours should have the same bolt pattern as AE86 struts so will be a bolt up option.
Only kicker with FD/FC calipers is you'll probably need to find a master/booster combo to keep the pedal feel right.

yea would be a good option might take a bit to get working properly but it still might be worth it my old man owns a couple of wrecking yards so that will help ALOT cheers for the help

Get 60 series Celica front struts and brakes. Make adjustable lower arms to fit. You get bigger brakes, better struts and better alignment

only issues with 60 series is you end up with huge positive camber, nessectating camber plates and rediclously wide front track

Except you need the steering arms to match. Screws steering lock, ackerman etc so no thanks.

yip, real good alignment, but when you add 35 mm+ to each side to get adjustable camber.......it will be allgood :wink:

Yes you need the right steering arms. It's what I did to my KE70 wagon and if I ever had another it's exactly what I would do again. Made it handle extremely well. No guard run or weird issues at all.

cheers for all the input but so far the rx7 upgrade looks to be the cheapest for the stopping power.

ill keep you in the loop siren when i do upgrade wont be for a little bit though i got a supercharger to add to mine atm

issue with FC brakes is they are massive so lots of wheels dont fit with them, will need brake lines made too. AJPS from aus do a kit.

I have essentially that same as the MRP kit but from T3 with slightly bigger (like6mm)discs which are drilled and slotted and was about the same price.

just checked out AJPS there kit looks really good and 600 with rotors is a good price to and the brake lines aren't very expensive so will definitely consider them cheers
