15-20K for the blade master G, not really much more than the same year corolla.

The G spec gives you half leather that makes a big difference to the interior ambience. Radar cruise control is cool too, but I am guessing a lot of people wont use it.

Perhaps the best feature of the G-spec model is that it has the G in its name, I suppose you could just tell people it is a Blade Master G even when it isn't, or become a gangster and start putting G at the end of every sentence.... What up G? Blade Master G!

But seriously, the G spec is quite a bit nicer inside.

I am pretty much giving up on the STI

25k is just too much to spend on car at my age.

Would much rather spend 12-15k for a nice WRX wagon and have money aside for a trip to Europe I have been wanting to do and maybe a 2kcup car.

If I am still into them later on (which I think I will be) I'll buy something cool like an RS series Audi or Nice old Carrera when I am older/richer.

I have driven so many sti's over the past few years and the more I drive them the less blown away I was.

Blademaster is not really comparable to an STI or any 'performance' car in reality, it's a cruiser with ridiculously huge torque and just a really nice place to be. If an STI is your benchmark then I have no doubt you would find this lacking.

It is however a sweet sleeper and has confused many a person blasting up onramps :)

I paid $24k for mine in black, optional front and rear lips, otherwise dead stock with 31k on the clock. Still has the original tires, about half worn - quite impressive.

I'm intending on keeping it for a long time, it's a dead safe and highly practical family suitable car that's not snore inducing. As things wear out I'll replace with 'upgraded' bits, e.g wheels and tires will be done when these ones are done - slightly wider, much gripper rubber. Shocks will likely get replaced with TRD bits etc.

Yeah I'm sold on the BM-G I think, just need to find an interested party for the MPS now. And interest doesn't mean a BK SP23 + 5k.

Straight swaps yo, 20s and 3 months rego

25k is fine Ben, just depends how much you have to spare that makes the difference. Age doesn't come into it, otherwise Alex would still be in an SW20 :P

Maybe but either way I just think I would enjoy a wrx + new computer + holiday+ 2kcup car + hookers and blow more than an STI.

STI are 3 times the price of WRX, wow.

Unless you're scrimping on the hookers, that doesn't add up

Its Dunedin, you just have to go to the right bar at the right time, buy some drinks, and you'll find something better than 90% of hookers that'll give it up for free

Was having a chat to a guy at work about these, he mentioned his wife wants to sell their current zze12* or so corolla. I recommended one of these and he seemed keen, he told me the next day he'd mentioned it and got laughed at :(

Reckon I need to buy one then he'd be in. Can start a blade master G posse
