Hi, cost of a holset turbo balance?

Postby BBBrad » Sat Jun 22, 2013 8:49 pm

Hey everyone, looking at a holset on trademe, but the guy had decided to pull it apart at some previous stage. Wheels out and everything. So its now gonna need a rebuild or just a balance at the least. Any idea how much this would cost?
Cheers.

Id be very cautious,
One does not simply disassemble a good turbo for no reason,

Id budget for a rebuild at least, bearings, seals, balance, if the compressor or turbines are damaged its cheaper to buy a new turbo
