No shit, I can actually get a return flight to Tahiti for less than a return flight to Wanganui. Think the marketing team at airnewzealand have been sniffing too much avgas..

Cheap flight to wellington then bus up

If the car isn't brought bus back to wellington and fly back

Ive had mates fly to wellington for $29 each way and the bus is about 25 each way

Just had a look for ya. I'll PM you in a bit - has a couple issues but overall very tidy. Pictures seriously don't do the paint justice. The old boy really looks after it.
