am a bit sceptical tho.

that car looks orange (i know could just be the lighting) but the engine bay is painted grey too and your car looks factory red

It's a troll pic. I haven't ruined my car  just kinda gave me lulz that someone had put a heavy cast iron boat anchor in the front of one of the best handling cars out.

I'll find somewhere to put the 25 eventually. Maybe that mx5 I've wanted forever.

On topic: pulled gram lights off the back and put junk on. 255 RE001 vs 21kgm of torque = lol

I decided that my dodgy soldering job wasn't good enough to last so I headed over to pick-a-part and grabbed a wire from an EP71 points setup and replaced it. Car runs way smoother and has much more power down low and doesn't struggle in 4th gear up hills. It feels like a whole new engine. Lucky it wasn't the ignition leads, I can't be bothered spending money on a free car...

RANT...

I've done nothing to my Trueno for a week because I've been waiting for the Speedflow fittings and braided hose I ordered over a week ago.

I didn't realise it had been a week because I've ordered a few other things.

Last time I ordered from the same place it was delivered the next day, so since it had been so long I emailed the senders. They tracked it and emailed me back straight away (I never was given a tracking number) and said it was waiting at the local NZC branch since A WEEK AGO!

I never got a card in the letter box saying 'scary dog, please come pick up'.

What REALLY annoys me is that on Monday (3 days after they had it sitting at the branch) they rang me saying the courier couldn't deliver because of the dog and its too big for the letter box. That's totally fine with me, I prefer the security instead of convenience. So I said I would come pick up the package at the branch after work, I didn't know which package it was since I've ordered a few things online.

Went in and picked it up, no worries.

"Yay new K&N filter for the Chaser...wonder where my Speedflow stuff is?"

4 days later and no card in the mail brings us to today when I emailed the senders as above.

So I ring NZC to ask if they do actually have it and why they didn't give me both packages when I was there on Monday. So the lady says, sorry but we can only tell if you bring in the card. I NEVER GOT ANY CARDS!

So would my package have just sat there or would a red and yellow Hiace be rocking some sweet braided hose?

RAAAA!

My annoyance it probably worse since its probably the same courier that left the gate wide open for 7 hrs leaving the dog free to eat as many neighbours as she likes.

That is why my dog(s) are behind deadbolts and padlocks, lost one to someone elses $&#$% up not dealing with that again.

Guards were rubbing on the new wheel/tyre combo. So out with the hammer. Cut some protruding plastic bits out of the inner guard too.

But they don't know that lol. She can look and sound angry if she wants to, then immediately sink and grovel on the ground when she see's that its just us behind the gate

But it turned out she was like 'Meh, I'm staying here its my house', but if there was a cat across the street and a car involved I'd have done more than just yelled at the poor NZC customer service person.

Bloody NZC...
