What's it worth? 1992ish Landcruiser Prado LJ7*

Postby thegreatestben » Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:20 pm

Hey chaps,

Not much of a 4wd man or anything but a guy at work is offering what seems to be a sweet deal.

He's got a 92ish prado 7 seater. I think it's an LJ71 or similar Auto 2LTE. I found a few little bits and pieces wrong with it like the drivers door window is floppy (but works) the passenger door lock has been jimmied and the coolant neck appeared to be full of gunk.

Good - It's all there. New tyres, 240,000km. Radiator core looks new. Tidy in engine bay. Underside is clean. Solid front axle.

Havent driven it yet. Anything I should look out for?

Very similar to this one but for less than half what that one's asking price is.

If it's generally in usable wofable condition then seems like a good deal.
Price up an engine though to be sure

Sweet it's an EX widebody according to Toyodiy, it does have flares.

240,000km's and odo readings seem pretty consistent.

Still got my LX76 wagon so have a spare engine if need be
