May not be limp mode. Started a tech thread with a good description of whats going wrong. Its not throwing codes back at me or telling me its ok. Car seems to drive fine boost and all, just not idle

bought new van over the weekend.. 3L turbo diesel manual supercustom. been lowered, cert, evo 8 wheels and tints. all it needs is some 6x9s, sub + amp and a bigger exhaust. should be good for towing racecars/lugging mountain bikes and engine parts around. also feels good to be back to driving a toyota everyday!

now need to sell the volvo.. anybody want a 2000 V70 wagon 2.3L turbo 5cyl?? will try put up a fir sale thread

Having a Mines ecu makes me think it is/was a TS members car, pretty sure there was a build thread. I may be wrong though.

It was listed on JZ forums a while back and it was in repair mode. Guess he fixed everything up

Put a freshly charged battery in it. Shut the door and the rear windscreen half popped out of the frame. Bit of a WTF moment! I guess I won't be taking it for a WOF check today after all! Got it home for the first time in probably 3-4 months, so that is a plus though. Will have all three cars on one property this arvo.

Fitted a new throttle idle speed valve this morning, what a bitch that is to get to!
The thing that makes it even more painful is the fact it didn't correct the issue with hunting from 1500 - 2000 rpm when idling

Next job will be to replace every vaccunm pipe, unless any good suggestions?

Put it on a dyno and guessed 1kw off what it ran...279kw result, and more importantly a baseline figure to compare what my new big plenum FFIM and 82mm throttle body do for the curves.
