80s Japanese sports cars

I personally have always been a sucker for the straight edged sports cars of the 80s.

I have recently been thinking these are all starting to disappear from our roads, so why not start collecting them! But not to just put them away in a shed some where to be forgotten.

My question is.. Who would be keen to be able to have the option of hiring a bunch of sports cars for the day and doing some country road tours?

They would all need so much money spent on them in order to get them a WOF, that it would take a year of hires to pay it back.

Not to mention, alot of them wont have parts available anymore.

Great idea in theory, not so good in practice.

P.S I always had a soft spot for the slope backed Carina with wing mirrors

That said, if you've won Powerball and now have lots of time and money to spare, go for it I'd hire a R31 GTS-R for lulz

I can relate to this idea
they do fully supported Harley tours
Also you can hire modern performance cars (here and overseas)
Def would hire one of these! (OMG Toyota why didn't you keep making these!)
