Yes, the egos and pride if those at the top is exactly what it will come down too.
Hence they will not like Alonso's attitude.
Criticism is not taken well there

Yep.

I mean this whole wind tunnel correlation stuff that Ferrari have been beating on about if that isn't a cock up right there by the power's that be and yet as you mentioned earlier in this thread they are still using it as an excuse.

At the end of the day its starts at the top and if the message thats coming down from the principal is wrong pretty much explains it all for me with Ferrari's inconsistent performance over the last 5 seasons.

I think Ferrari would be happy to have Kimi.
They improve on Massa. They also prod Alonso and put him in his place a bit. He had been whinging a lot lately.

Agree. Also Alonso contract is up at the end of next season?
One season with Kimi might help him make up his mind, Ferrrari don't have to pay him out, and the get the hulk in with Kimi. :D

Ferrari will never win with Italian management. Too much in-fighting and blame culture.

Haha, I read that one this morning, but until I read an official Ferrari announcement, I wont accept it as fact ;)

There is about 11ty billion articles online at the moment all 'stating' that kimi has signed, yet half the statements have a question mark at the end lol

Any minute now I expect Luca to announce their 2014 drivers...

There are identical ones that have been up since 10am, all the journalists are basically copying one article and adding a few words here or there so its "original"l...ive been trawling every f1 site since sparrows fart for an official announcement, but just the same old regurgitated speculation lol

ANNOUNCE IT ALREADY ;)

:D yer. they have been saying deal announcement imminent. This one claims a 1 year deal has been signed with Kimi and ferrari in same sentence.

Only maybe 2 sites that you need to watch for factual information regarding this.

The next question is where is the whiney one going to go, cause he doesn't like being in a team with someone of equal, or greater talent, and I'm pretty sure Kimi won't put up with his bullshit.

It seems, from his comments atleast, that he is staying put as he has supposedly welcomed Kimi to the team via twitter (which kimi wont have seen lol)

I guess there were no other options for him so he isnt going to cut off his nose despite his face, although some spanish media reports were saying he might take a sabbatical for a year to focus on his new cycling team, although I find that far fetched as I can see him coming back into a new formula where all his main rivals will have 12 months more experience with the ERS-H and ERS-K systems etc

Either way, fireworks are a comin' :)

Kimi your the man

I still don't see the end game for Ferrari here they've given themselves a 2 year window until these 2 are done.

If it were me I'd have grabbed Hulkenberg let him do his time paid him 1/2 the cash Raikkonen will be getting and then when Alonso was done go all in for Vettel or Hamilton.

Or have a option on Hulkenburg for 2015 and let him spend a year at Lotus

Anybody know when the FIA is planning on confirming dates for the 2014 season? Want to start organising my trip to Melbourne but dates are still not confirmed, and I need to firm up some dates for work stuff related to me getting to Oz on the work dime.
