Exhaust mounts break...

So I often get broken exhaust mounts on THE STARVIA.
It's solid the whole length. The down pipe is solid mounted to the bell housing(I had a problem with the weight of the turbo hanging off the exhaust studs). There are two rubber O's before it goes over the axle. I have the stretch them a bit to get them on the hooks. They keep breaking. Right at the end there were two more rubber Os, but I replaced those with two of those cotton reel type mounts with the stud on either end.
Today at Manfield the nut fell off one(should have used nylocks) the other one sheared through the rubber.

I was thinking of a flexi just after the down pipe to give it some slack....?

yea you need a flexi , at the moment if sounds like your using a lever the length of the car to load the rear mounts.
I fitted mine just after where the dump pipe is solid mounted to the rear engine mount so I'd recommend just after your bell housing mount.
I can also say that a flexi will stop the exhaust from loading up the turbo/studs if you crash backwards into a bank , I shortened mine by 30mm at shelly bay
