URGENT: NEED A 20V BLACKTOP CAS (AUCKLAND)

Postby NOLAW » Fri Oct 18, 2013 7:47 pm

Hey guys

i know this isnt the section for it but its urgent!

I have my car at e&h motors getting tuned at the moment and theres a couple issues that are suspected to be from the CAS and that it may be damaged, is there anyone in the auckland area who can provide a 20v blacktop cam angle sensor to borrow or buy? just so i can see if this is the cause of the problem, the car was supposed to be done and heading back to whakatane tomorrow so any help would be much appreciated!

thanks guys

nah mate, cam angle sensor i think unless its the dizzy, its being used as a CAS on a 7agte, its the bit that bolts onto the back of the head off the exhaust cam anyway

ST one will be the same,

have heard of a few people with aftermarket ECU's suspecting problems with them,
but have never heard of one that did actually turn out to be the problem,
they are pretty reliable and hard to damage unless you physically damage them.
