Car thief rant

Post by FST4RD »

So today whilst out driving I've seen 2 burnt out cars, obviously stolen. What the hell is going on with society these days?
I would love to catch 1 of these scum, round up everything they own, clothes and all, put it in a big pile, force them to pour petrol over it and drop a match on it. After that throw them in prison and throw away the key.

I would be more than happy if the police started giving out cash rewards from tax payers money for any information that leads to arrest and conviction of these scum. Might encourage a few people to rat these people out, not just car thieves, any thief.

Why not throw them also on the burning pile, saves money spent keeping the scum and 0% risk of reoffending?

Yep unfortunately its something I hear about all to often, the world is all far to PC now with no real consequences for peoples actions.

stop them breeding and cull off what's around at the moment. is a good start.

People have caught on that if caught, punishment is relatively minor?

They don't qualify as people. Closer to neanderthals.

Not many things compare to waking up to find your garage door open and a big empty space where your pride and joy used to be...

Not quite the same, but I woke up to find my pride and joy broken into. Stereo stolen and few other bits and pieces. Car never felt the same after that, I sold it much to my displeasure.

Its not just benefit changes, its the economy as a whole.

While things are slowly improving here, jobs for unskilled young people are fairly thin on the ground at present, and there have been a whole raft of benefit changes/cuts in the past few years, so its logical that in times of hardship, crime rates increase. Especially crime like car theft/burglary etc.

Imagine how much more theft is happening in supermarkets, chemists, clothes stores...MASSIVE increases compared to when everybody can get jobs/money more easily.

The problem is the majority of crime is commited by a very small group of people and thats why you end up with people with over 100 convictions to their name and they have no interest in working. Removing these people from society is the only way to stop them offending but all the courts do is give them a slap on the wrist.

Alot of it comes down to supply and demand

People are looking for cheap parts, and they find them and unknowing (most of the time) buy stolen goods

That cheap replacement gearbox/turbo/engine/anything you buy on trade me. Where did it really come from?

Then all of a sudden your car goes missing and that gearbox is back up on trademe

And the crims win they get paid twice
Its a viscous viscous circle

Hell yeah, back in the 1970's there were these crazy buggers stealing everyone's floating dots and running away from ghosts.

Now we have people jumping cars over buildings every five minutes, its getting annoying.

Ban people I reckon.
