- Location: On the South coast where the tui's sing tututu.
Installed new throttle cable, and swapped my 2JZGE ECU for one from a GTE. A few wires will need to be changed to suit the GE loom but its all fairly simple.
Test fitted my 2JZGTE vvti coils, HT leads, ignition loom, and ignitor...need to find a factory ignitor bracket to make it look factory.
Test fitted new intercooler, and dummied up some piping and couplers.
Fitted a 2JZGTE IACV, and the Q45 throttle body to the FFIM, and discovered the throttle still cant open due to an armature fouling on the flange, will take a cutting wheel to it again during the week.
Fitted the factory airbox and took some measurements, as Im going to be modifying it to have a 4" dia outlet, so it can match the turbo inlet with minimal flow disruption
Fitted up the new carbon fibre heat shield where the exhuast tip sits, decided I dont want to use sikaflex, and put it back in its box lol

Learnt why I went heavy diesel instead of petrol, an anorexic woman would have trouble getting their arm in there.
You just need to know how to be a contortionist
