Practical work experience

Postby shogun » Thu Nov 07, 2013 5:08 pm

Hi,

Thought it would be worth a shot on here. I am looking for some practical work as per the requirements of my mechanical engineering degree. I have tried at a few general engineering places so far and will go out and look more tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone in the Wellington region works in a workshop or knows someone that does and if they would be open to hiring a student over Summer? I have done training and worked in a workshop before and would be happy to do a day or two unpaid if the employer wants to see how I'd go.

Thanks,
Raymond
