Nah MPS. Apparently 280-something hp. Dunno if that's atw. Not bad for pretty much stock.

Prepped the mx5 for drifting tomorrow and added googly eyes for extra hilarity.

Washed it this morning.

And yesterday I played real life GranTurismo in someone else's Maserati. It sounded awesome and went like stink.

Mount a long pole with a camera facing back towards the car on that mx5 while drifting.. I predict epic lols.

Installed intercooler, cut some intercooler piping.

Tried to mount 2JZGTE iacv to my FFIM, but no dice as the valve is too big for the hole on the mani :( I might need to find something smaller, but still with Toyota plug.

Drilled out throttle cable linkage hole so the new cable end fits.

Took one of each of the old bolts for my cam and coil covers, so I can get some new allen key head replcements from coastal fasteners so they suit the new cam cover etc.

Found some wheels I quite liked on TradeMe for the FX this afternoon. Contacted the guy through his car listing, went and had a look and ended up buying them. Fitted them just before it got dark. They're 16x7, 38 offset, made in Japan and have 4 good tyres. Can't complain for $170 :)

Popped into work this morning to take delivery of my job for next week

Image

Fixed the daytime running lights and swapped the high beam from halogen to HID to match the low beam.

Then washed and installed carbon MPS badge on the rear + conditioned the seats.

Done 250kms to the first half of my first tank of E85 so pretty happy with that. If I can get 400 to a tank I'll be stoked. Doesn't randomly stall now either so I'm glad I took it in for a tune. Kinda wanna debadge the rear

So much yes to debadging the rear, and fully too.

Your car looks awesome...that Mazda red is always catching my eye, and am seriously considering it as the shade for when I respray the red whale.
