Yeah for that ownership aswell. Seems quite reasonable if you paid near his asking price

Youre not the only one, mate.

$13k for a car with seriously ripped seat (p)leather, huge holes in the carpet, paint fade etc, seems pretty steep to me.

Carpets are ruined

Seats are ruined

Paint is ruined

but is reasonably low KM, and the engine looks tidy enough, and doesn't have a shitty pod filter hacked in

it may be a good deal to someone, but having just replaced the entire carpet in the supra, you really, really have to love a car to endure that sorta torment and torture to replace it correctly and tidily D:

This!
We used to buy them in the 90's for a little over $1k and rape them to no end, they were lucky to survive

Really? I've swapped carpets between two of my old MKIVs and it took like a maximum of an hour-and-a-half (and I work slow as f***)

ill just put it down to me being crap, and the other work we were doing at the same time, the "might as well" jobs haha

its in and done, but it was a pain thats for sure haha, the A70 seems to be the "bastard" of the lot, I had to end up going to a place in the US who would make me a replacement molded carpet, AUS,NZ and even Europe places would only do the A61 and A80, it was infuriating getting told to get lost, or "whats that model? its not in the computer?"

then getting it shipped, cutting it using the old carpet as a template, and then the second, third and fourth consecutive cuts as you didint want to cut too much each time, to get it to fit, and then finally getting it in neatly, so you could do the other work, which would shift the carpets final spots again, requiring a 5th cut in places hahah, it was a bigger job than i thought!

Yeah, that's true. Benefit of the doubt for 'pain-in-the-ass(ness)' of working with the limited options available and the modifications necessary to get them to fit!
