Tell me about it ^

When I bought my Supra, it was the first car I had owned with tints, and the rear screen had particularly dark ones, and I also lived in a place with a very tight, difficult, long maze of driveway to reverse out of.

Needless to say, the first few times, I had to keep getting out of my car, just to confirm there were no children behind me lol

I have since removed it for a slightly lighter(legal) shade, and its alot easier to navigate backwards in the dark

It's been 100,000kms now since the rebuild on the Trueno, so time for a new cambelt.

Ended up doing the tensioners, water pump, oil and filter change, gearbox oil and coolant at the same time.

And since posts are boring without photos.

All in good time Scott :)

Need to sort the rust and repaint the white one first!

Finally pulled it back off the trailer after picking it up from the panelbeater last week, bolt in KE suspension conversion tacked in place. Swaybar mounts still to be sorted.

Next job on the list is start stripping engine bay and inner guards for some POR15 and finalise engine bay wiring. Should make some progress with another 2 weeks before I go back to work.

It looks terrible, partly angle of the photo and because no RCA's fitted yet. Also the alignment is out by miles as it has just been slapped together, is actually better than it was on factory arms at that height.

New rubber.. wipe silicone oil off side of car and sidewalls & tread of tyres... WTF do tyre shops think I want my new sticky tyres coated in silicone oil, especially when they go so overboard that the stuff goes everywhere? Wouldn't mind if they used a decent tyre black, and only got it on the sidewall instead of all over the outside inch of tread too..

Nick didn't have $250 P Zero Neros, and is also miles away, and I'm pretty sure his guys did the silicon thing the one time I bothered going up there.

As for the sig, changed it a few nights ago.. Was a line on Suits that cracked me up.

Got opticoat paint protection applied last week then went for a random drive on some country/dirt roads last night.

Can't get over how shiny the paint is after a clean and paint protection. I was skeptical but after bashing around on dirt roads and leaving the crap on it Everything just rinses off the next day.

Filled up this morning and I've seen the best mileage yet 617km to 50L. Not bad for a modified 2.3 turbo.

Had some small outward dents in the front left guard removed which I accidentally put in when giving the lip a bit more of a roll (must have been some stones stuck between the already partially rolled lip :x)

There's something very unnerving about someone whacking your car with a hammer . Fortunately this guy is amazing at what he does and the dents are completely gone:

Got a wof for the starlet and ordered a full urethane bush kit for mx5 (front and rear control arms, swaybar and diff bushes) as the last drift day caused this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DK7ke4OHjE
I figured all the other bushes wont be too far off breaking as well considering they are nearly 24 years old and probably never been replaced.

I got a WOF for the Legacy. Stoked I finally get year warrants now

Newish standard cars are so nice being able to dump at the mechanics and get a clean sheet wof, with no worries of a long list of things to do
