Awesome thanks for that Vid yes it is that car. We bought it off Ross Cameron about 6 months ago. is pretty well set up and have sorted out/tidying it up properly. Has a COD, Bilsteins, TRD LSD T series rear end and T series box (which is screwed so replacing with a TRD box), and the angriest 4K I've ever seen with some dirty big dellorto's. Apparently was tuned at 130hp atw on av gas just before we bought it - goes like it too!

This is the paint/graphics scheme for daybreaker this year.. Need to find some spotlights if anybody has any Hella/PIAA spotlights with covers lying around? Has all wiring for PIAA halogen spotlights already installed in car so would be good to use that if at all possible.

I approve wholeheartedly 8)

Waterblasted some PAP carpet for the Primera as the old stuff was the victim of an electrical fire. Some people should not be allowed to install stereos!
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time

Its definitely a quick car. Here are the results from that day. http://www.oscc.co.nz/results/longridge2008.htm
15seconds faster than my MR2 although that was my first time driving fast on gravel in that car. My corner speeds were much lower than that angry little car.

Nice choice on the colours. Should look good when done.

Cool thanks! its interesting to get some history about the car. Had a good chat to one of the south island Rx7 guys that came up for IRC summer series about it seems to be quite well known.

Went and bought a couple of rolls of exhaust heat wrap, and proceeded to wrap my exhaust manifold that I had to remove last week to have a couple of cracks in the collector welded up.

Only slightly itchy now hehe.

I will be wrapping the down pipe, and dump pipe, then reinstalling it all tomorrow.

Had a look at a 1jzgte soarer as a possible next project. Dealer said engine was good...... Claimed knocking from engine was just pulley..... Numerous bogus comments on the auction, can't wait till the law gets changed and putting a car as a $1 reserves doesn't mean a dealer can avoid responsibility for what they sell.

Waste of a lunch tine.
Science never sleeps...

Current JZZ31 soarer 2jzge-T (project), Crown Athlete 3.5 (Daily)
RVR Turbo (idle)
Carmy Wagon 2.5 (lent to mum).
Previous. A32 maxima (dead) 190e Merc (dead)
Terrano (dereg for 10 years, still being driven in west Auckland)

This one is actually more a likely candidate for BTCC replica....

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
