It's how the world turns. And it's a Settlement, not a bribe! After all MJ would have been in Jail had he not reached a settlement his way out (plus how many more people in the world I can't think of right now?!)

Re: 2014 Formula One
Finally, the waiting is over (well nearly) with the 4 week Summer break coming to a close, and the cars ready to hit the track again.
Not just that, but they will be racing at the hair raising, spectacular Spa Francorchamps!!
Imagine how fast the Williams are going to be at the top of the Kemmel Straight, if they dont get pole, but are right at the pointy end, then I wouldnt be at all surprised to see them sailing past the Mercs on the way into Les Combes on lap 1.
Im off to the TAB tomorrow to put down a few lazy notes on some long shots
Also, Mitch Evans and Richy Stanaway will be racing in GP2 and GP3 so some great support races to watch too

Re: 2014 Formula One
Next couple of races are going to be cool. Keen to see what the new motors can do at monza. Less downforce and moar powa! Qually should see some big top speeds.

Agreed, Im expecting to potentially see upwards of 355 for Williams at Monza
And they wont be much shy of that this weekend either, as the run from La Source to Les Combes is not short stroll lol Although with the new PU's, they not expected to be able to take Eau Rouge flat for the first time in over a decade.

The sad thing will be watching the Spa maestro Raikkonen in a PI$$ant slow Ferrari..In a good car Kimi own's that place but I fear in this red piece of dog poop they have now he may aswell do what he did in Monaco all those years ago sit on the side lines with a glass of champange watching all the fast guys run rings round him.

Re: 2014 Formula One
Jesus Christ, that was so lucky. I wonder if they are already modifying the circuit there to avoid a potential repeat of that?
The Mercs look safe again, but the Williams was fast as expected, and the Ferrari's looked better than expected.
Pastor is lucky he brings $20million a year to Lotus as he sure does cost them alot of money. The amount of times he makes rookie errors by taking his eye off the track for a second is beyond a joke now. Nobody can have so many accidents by bad luck, driver is to blame here alot of the time, I feel.
Great to see Mitch Evans qualify in third for the Gp2 Feature race...Heres hoping he gets a great tow up the hill and ends up in first by Les Combes

That Pastor crash in practice. Was that just him wandering off the track again? haha! in comentry they were saying wheel must have been loose or something because it was a straight bit of track. Thinking about it now, he didn't seemed to steer it back onto the road.

Re: 2014 Formula One
He ran slightly wide, no issues there, but he just stayed there and accelerated?! Seriously WTF.
Go put "Pastor Maldanado crash" into youtube. Wow.

Re: 2014 Formula One
He must have alot of money behind him to still be racing, though he doesn't have many points left on his race licence.
In V8SC news, was amusing to watch the top 3 sliding round in the wet once the race was finished 'Tandem D1V8SC'
edit. just seen this quote
