Bathurst - Free to air/Streaming

Postby BzzzzR » Fri Oct 10, 2014 4:17 pm

For the poor people who don't have sky, how can I watch the race?? Steaming? is there any delayed coverage on free to air?

Would normally head to the pub, but on kid duty this Sunday....

On the edge of my seat the whole day. Some gutting moments for some of the drivers too!

That opening stint from Jamie Whincup was the best in recent memory I can remember.

I didn't think he had the risk it all mentality in him man I was shocked at how hard he drove today and only just came up short.

Was for sure, but was only as good as his last few laps were stupid,
and I belunning out of fuel was entirely his fault not the teams,
Wouldn't listen to his engineer and they had to get team boss on the radio to tell him,
and even then I think he only slowed down because he actually ran out of fuel and got surge coming onto the main straight.

Feel sorry for Giz who lost from an avoidable mistake, that should have not really mattered (stalling)
but not for Whincup who deserved to not finish.

Makes you wonder what's been going on behind the scenes for JW to do that. It was pretty stupid. Even if slowing cost him the win, he'd still have been on the podium.

And yeah, SVG. That sucked. What's the bet a lot of teams will be working on starter motor cooling

Maybe so but I gotta think JW thought he could'nt win as Mostert to his credit was applying alot of pressure from behind.

I don't like how Roland Dane came out in public like that to berate his driver who was doing what he thought was the right thing to win the race even though he was proven wrong.

All things considered what JW has bought to Red Bull I thought he deserved better than that and most probably he's looking good for another championship.

I put JW's lack of communication down to the heat of the battle and pressure he made a mistake but for me he was the best driver out there on that Sunday regardless of his 5th place finish.

The guy is about winning though 2nd,3rd meant nothing and as the day panned out with his rivals Lowndes and Frosty finishing behind him he still extended his points lead in the Championship.

Personally he was a BULL excuse the pun seeing RED he was going for the win at all costs nothing else mattered.
