Thinking of changing the colour of my bonet
To either black or carbon fibre look.
Who can do it
What sort of price
DIY option
OR
Is it better/easier/cheaper to paint it black?
Comments and suggestions welcome

Wrapping a bonnet
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
Re: Wrapping a bonnet
its cheaper to carbon wrap it than it is to paint it. Did it on the rx7 a few years ago, came out pretty sweet, most people that see it in the flesh think it is proper carbon.

Re: Wrapping a bonnet
Far easier to wrap and cheaper. You can get 3D carbon or 4D carbon now which looks more like carbon with a clear over it. Plus if you don't like it you can remove it.

Re: Wrapping a bonnet
Heads up on the PlastiDip.
If you dont put it on thick enough (which I didnt) It will not just peel off like it does in vidoes. You end up either tearing off a few mm at a time, spraying more over the top to make it thicker, or spraying WD40 on it and scrubing it off. I spent many a hour trying to get plastidip off my wheels.
Cheers
