Anybody got stainless tube & bending gear?

Postby Grrrrrrr! » Wed May 27, 2015 6:25 pm

I need a U bend made from 3/8" or 1/2" stainless tube, but it needs to have an outside to outside measurement less than 60mm, which is tighter than I can do with my gear.
Needs 200mm straight legs each side of the bend, and thinner wall tube is better, only has to deal with 100psi max.

Anyone able to bend me some tube? PM me with a price

Try someone who works at a dairy factory or people who install/maintain dairy sheds.
See ya

Gave autobend a call, nothing in stainless on the shelf, so would be about $60 to have a one-off bent up. Might have to go this way if I can't find another solution. Considering going over to making it all in ali, but I cant tig weld so that'll cost more, but be lighter.. and eventually corrode away. Could do bundy tube, but that too will rot pretty quick since everything else will be stainless.
