ST195 Caldina rwd conversion

Iv been thinking about doing this to my soon to be un required daily but not sure how the 4wd system is set up or if it can even be done? Is there a center diff in the transfer case that can be locked or is it a viscous setup?
Its a got an E series gearbox according to the chassis plate

The rear diff is too weak, the centre diff is too weak, the chassis is not designed for RWD only operation.
But other than that, yes you can lock the centre with some dodgy mods (welding centre shut), and blank the front axles.

Just buy a RWD car ;) much better result and much cheaper.

If you are after a toyota RWD wagon you can try the Altezza Gita or Mark II Blit.

They're a T series diff though yeah? Should handle a bit of abuse before going bang, and with a BOC centre fitted, should be fine
