Tyre places recommendations Auckland

Postby ptrain » Sat May 21, 2016 7:12 pm

Hi all looking for tyres for the Blade. I'm thinking all seasons as we take it skiing fairly regularly.

Anyone know of any particularly good tyre places? Ideally around Mount Wellington or East Tamaki?

Theres a great place in Birkenhead that treated me fantastically. Think its simply called The Tyre Company.

Only sharp when they are on special. Otherwise very expensive. They wanted $220 a tyre for the Yokohama S Drives on my Corolla, KATS down here was $170 a tyre.

If you're after Bridgestones, I wait until they've got the buy 3 get one free deal, then ring up TTS and get the lower average price plus another $10 off as per their price guarantee. Paid just over $160 each for $230 tyres last time.
