Beams 3sge vvti solenoids

Hey, so I managed to smash the plug off the solenoid on the wife's caldina when putting engine back in Does anyone know if the solenoids are engine specific? I can get new from toyota ok but its also easier and cheaper to get a hold of different engines solenoid valves, ie 2jz 1zz etc

Yep, they're engine specific. The part number for the Caldina 3S-GE valve is 15330-74020, which is the same as the BEAMS 3S-GE SW20 MR2, ST202 Celica and SXA10 RAV4.
