4K internally regulated alternator

Post by Rollin007 »

Hi all, I've done a search and been through the first 20 odd pages but can't seem to find any info on this topic.

Has anyone changed their externally regulated alternator for an internal one? If so what did you use? I've got a beach buggy with a 4K and really want to tidy up the wiring and if I can get rid of the external regulator that will cut 50% of the wiring!

Cheers
If its got tits, tyres or an aerial its gonna cost ya!!!!

From memory there is a suzuki one that would work well, but it's been forever since I looked into it. May have been an early Swift/Cultus?
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
