wanted, 3V, late 60's, small V8 toyota engine

Postby normcrown » Thu Dec 01, 2016 11:40 am

hi, i'm in nsw, with a '66 Crown S as a project, and i'm looking for something different to drop in it.
i'd like to find and fit a Toyota 3V, V8 engine (from the era) to the S, with the appropriate manual bell housing conversion.
if anyone has one of these engines (or engine repair manual) or knows someone who might know something about this engine, please respond.
cheers

Seedy Al on Oldschool.co.nz did have one a while back that he was putting into his crown but changed direction and went 2j i believe. Not sure what happened to the engine.

Thanks Stu, I'd heard about an Al in Wellington a few years ago who had a partial 3V and 5V for sale, wonder if this is the same Al?

Thanks again Stu, I'll try Oldschool.co.nz or any other tips for contacting Al.
