That's because TTS are owned by Bridgestone....

Yep? I wasn't getting at that, I was more pointing out their insistence.

Well being owned by Bridgestone would make them more insistent you buy their tyres wouldn't it?

Replaced the rear shocks in the Terrano. Took only 10 mins to do both, didn't even have to jack it up

Replaced Corolla front speakers. When I got the car, a previous owner had decided it was a good idea to cut the speaker covers in the lower dash and install these Pioneer coaxials.

Thankfully the local Pick A Part gets a reasonable supply of unmolested EE80/AE82s so I picked up some tidy speaker covers for $10. Got some reasonably nice JBL GTO's which sound a ton better than the larger Pioneers.

Oh wow, such a subtle job, that almost looks factory

I chased a wiring fault down on the RAV4 which was giving me all sorts of grief via the trailer socket. Pulling the interior out revealed a bunch of those clip on wire joiners. Isolated the earth wire and replaced it with a new length of wire screwed into a sanded panel then painted over. Worked a charm.

Took it for my first track day! So much fun and all my suspension mods made the car very stable.

A bit of work on the deck too, just waiting for new rims/tyres to fill the flares out more. Going from 15x8 0 offset and 195/50's to 15x8 -25 offset and 225/50's.

Finally had to replace the RE003s on the front of the Corolla...just shy of 24k on them, not too bad.
So nice having fresh ones again, been on the treadwear indicators for a bit now, forget how grippy they are new 8)

Got close to 50k on my set of RE002's. Got them in May 2012, just replaced them last week with RE003's. Old tyres were not quite at the wear indicators but the inside edges were stuffed from camber/toe.

Proper sized tyres and a more aggressive offset to fill the 4WD guards.

Up on some oversized axle stands, have pulled the rear springs to get reset with an overrider leaf and the front eyes reversed. Will be pulling the box and putting a new clutch as well as it slips when warm.

Seemed like a good idea with the single post moveable hoist.

Got my wagon running again after 4 years of being parked up. Carb was full of oxidised shit. Still not 100%, but managed to drive it in and out of the garage under its own power 8)

I did nothing, as per usual. Unless driving to McDonalds counts as doing stuff to car.

Yup thats the one, the one I've had forever. Quick throttle stabs made it stumble, so checked the vacuum advance to see if that was doing anything, and found it was pretty intermittent, so stripped the dizzy down and freed it up. Once I have some spare time I'll chuck it in and see how it goes.

Its been an incredible month+, ending in a couple of genuine scorchers in the last few days :P brown lawns everywhere!

It finally started raining last night :P

I want to get the Supra tinted also, and tried to get them to take their mobile service to the pain shop it is sitting in dormant, and they violently shook heads, I didn't even think about dust and stuff when working with Tint film, and a paint shop is nothing but dust haha, so ill bring the car to them when its done instead!

Cam seal decided it didn't like being in its housing in the Corolla today, so spewed all of the oil everywhere on the way to work this morning. Really felt like doing the cambelt tonight too
