They fit, but FE ones lack the hanger bearing the GE models do.

Uneven length vs even length?

The drivers one is always long, but FE dont use the bearing that the GE ones do. Assume to do with lack of horsepower

Probably. What I meant about equal length is the inner CV joint on the right side matches where the inner CV is on the left technically making the end half shaft the same length reducing differences in power transfer to the wheels. The SW20 NA has a long right side while the turbo has the carrier bearing setup. GE vs GTE in this case.

I know that with the hanger bearing setup the auto vs manual gearbox/driveshaft combo can't be mixed and matched.
Have to manual driveshaft for manual box as the lengths are slightly different and the hanger bearing won't bolt to the block
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
