Thats what I love about the 20b's, you get pretty big numbers for very little boost.

Only problem is that your gas tank isn't very full for long :D

They're not that bad, my S4 used pretty similar amounts of fuel as my SW20 did. When I went to the 2000 rotary nats, I used $220 in fuel ($1.279 p/l) and covered 1500k's with 3 people and gear in the car. Not driving nicely either!

That's a huge bill. I didn't realise rotors were that hungry. I just did 1400Km on $160. As in yesterday and saturday.

Its not that bad really. That would of been around 172 litres of fuel, or around 3 tanks at 57litres a tank. So 500km out of a tank is pretty good for a rotary. My old bat got 600km to a tank, though they have over 70litre tanks :lol:

I find they are 'good' on gas, except they are quite sensitive to load.
I get about an extra 100ks if the majority of driving is done with just me in the car, you can tell the differance in the mileage the moment someone else is in the car.

Just recently myself, my mate and two pcs plus monitors went from paekak hill to whitby to the portlan hotel back out to paekak hill and used almost half a tank.

This is in a series 7 bat.

I average around 500-550kms on a tank btw, usually filling about 65litres in it. I dont really thrash it though, too much of a noob driver to really throw it round, and its too damn expensive to crash! I AM with NAC afterall... :roll:

15k p/l...thats pretty impressive economy, my wagon doesnt even get that.

to take it more off topic , our caldina GT does ~14km/l on 98 if you nana it. 15km/l in a celica without the 4wd power loss would be possible but you'd have to be pretty careful with it.

and yeah apparently rotaries aren't as bad on fuel as people say, i believe its more when you modify them they get bad, as with any modified car. probly to do with the way people drive them too :wink:

Exactly. Porting them makes them alot thirstier, the bigger port the worse it gets.

Again O/T, but i only got 500km out of the last tank from my company car(1zzfe powered fielder). Thats about 40litres :? That was mostly open road driving as well.

Its running on 91, so just filled up with 95 and see if it gets better milage.

Fielder tank should be 50 if it's the same as the corolla/runx.
The 2zzge in my runx gets ~500km/45l round town, and 750-800km/45L on a trip

Very heavy foot takes that down to 360 round town and 450 trip though.

Was on the empty line yesterday when i filled it, and had to top up past the gas nozzle clicking off to get it to 40 litres. It may have a capacity of more than that, but it seems to only get 40 useable litres out of it.

Even so, i should be getting more mileage than your car. Not that it bothers me that much - gotta love free gas :lol:
