Some interesting numbers although I would have to debate the last couple.

According to the calculaters possted in the rpm to speed thread The car has a theoretical top speed of 270kph (larger rolling diameter than standard @ 261kph), I know it has been up past 200kph so a 170 top speed just isn't right.

From the 200l of gas that went in over the weekend I got 2,100km and still have about half a tank left, so closer to 9.5l per 100km for the consumption.

Well how sure are you about the coefficient of drag? This is the biggest factor to top speed, and IIRC you said it was .4, which is rather high!

Your theoretical top speed doesnt take into account that you may not reach 700rpm in fifth, if the car cannot push through the aerodynamic drag.

This could also affect your mileage.
However I will double check the numbers when I get home.

Also, on some other tracks which I had a play with but didnt post, your car ended up in the top 2 or 3.

Gear ratios, wheelbase, car height and car width.

You'll be able to find the wheelbase, car height and car width here:

Yeah, the .35 cd was hard to find, got it off one of the american forums. I know it may not be possible to get to the theoretical top speed but have had it approaching 220 in 5th (guesstimate since the speedo only goes to 180) on an slightly uphill straight before I backed off and there was still plenty of give. It eaisly gets up to 150-160 in 4th and my speeds at the drags were 149-157 in 3rd and just getting into 4th for the 157.

Does displacement matter much in the calcs program...
Just realise that I originally put in 1598 (was looking at something else at the time oops...) in stead of 1587...
hp and torque figures were still about right though...

Yeah it does, it helps work out what the torque/hp curves look like.
But the amount of difference between those two numbers would be SFA.
Perhaps if you said it was a 6 litre 4AGE it might matter a little more. :lol:

My fuel consumption is about the same as posted - although the top speed is a bit on the high side - the best I could do was 165km/h on a long long straight (not on public roads of course.. noooo).

I'm amazed that I'm only 0.01 of a sec quicker down the 1/4 mile than an automatic AE85. My car isn't even that much heavier, and has more power and torque.

I entered your wheel diameter as 17cm rather than inches. :lol:

this will more than likely drastically change your results, so I will rerun them for ya.

wish my car did 14.95 secs at the drags and the 230sumthing km i wish 2 my car stops at 192 in 4th still got 2 gears 2 go arrrrr :twisted:
