ive driven blacktops silvertops smalports big ports 4agze as far as a hardcore revvy motor its the blacktop but i still prefer the 4agze to a 20v

I put a silvertop in my ae92 when the bigport died and was disappointed to basically end up with the same performance (maybe powerband shifted higher slightly?)

Now its got a blacktop ecu/loom and it does go better definitely. Hopefully even better with the blacktop head/manifolds down the track - we'll see.

Honestly i dont really think there is a "better"

If the silvertop goes no better than a 16v, but the blacktop isnt as tough, its 6 to one, half dozen the other.

Pretty sure its only the rods at let the blacktop down, so not too hard to swap with a silvertop 8)
