Oil filter on a s/c aw11

How do i remove the oil filter on my s/c aw11 mr2 is thear a trick to it which i dont know?

use to changing the filter on my rotary at it's on top of the motor
FAST AND RELIABLE IS NOT CHEAP
FAST AND CHEAP IS NOT RELIABLE
CHEAP AND RELIABLE IS NOT FAST

It's just like any other one, just unscrews...

iirc, if you get a genuine toyota oil filter, they are shorter than generic ones, so are easier to fit/remove in the future...

ok now if the filter is in the same location as the n/a aw11s
which it shud be from memory... its easy...

2 ways... either use a filter wrench on it... or alternatively... hammer a screwdriver thru it and use this to unscrew it...

pretty simple really...

I was going to suggest this way, but always decide not to incase the person screws it up somehow :-)

i had to do that in my gfs cynos (hammer and screwdriver)

$&#$% headers get in the way, and stay $&#$% hot for AGES.

cant get a wrench in... so a screw driver was used... but still a... very very very long one :S

all A series engines have the filter just below the ex manifold,
always used to burn ma hand doing services :x
