skyline 4pot brakes on ae86??
i have heard of guys fitting these to 86s and am keen to find out whats involved in the conversion, and can you leave the std master cylinder to operate the system or does it need changed to?? I am seriously considering this swap so would be good to find out any tips\advice,etc before committing to it.
I'm guessing here, but if the slave cylinders are replaced with bigger ones, then the master cylinder will also have to be bigger to compensate for the more fluid that will have to be pumped into the slaves. Otherwise the brake peddle will have to be pushed further or require a double pump before it will work.
Not a specific answer but maybe if you look at the area of your slave cylinders on the old and new brakes it might give an idea.
