The smart idea here would to be not speed ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Its not fair, if I impersonate an officer, I get in trouble.

Why should they be allowed to impersonate civilians?

Although now that I think about it, I can see why people would get fooled.

If you see a van with a ladder on the top, paint cans scattered all round the place, and a guy sitting in the front seat reading a newspaper, is he an officer, or a tradesman?

Would be funny if it was out on rubbish day...and there was a wasted rubbish truck driver.

Actually that is the only time it would be effective, as a single rubbish bin on the curb would stand out...

judging by that photo it is a single rubbish bin as i don't see any others in the background.

Although they do this up north.
Except they use old cars that are rusting etc and leave them on the side of the road in the ditch.
Favourite up there tho are the vans on the side of the road.
Blue, dark purple, red and white.

When they started doing this there were a whole heap of incidents where people were nailing the wheelie bins with their cars... it was quite funny to read the aussie papers at the time.
