Stops cameras from being able to read your licence plate lol. Anyone know where you could get some?

I remember there was a thing on the news about this a few years back, they did tests and turned out it made your number plates more visible to the cameras, but of course, the police would say that...

I can't comment on it's effectiveness from first hand experience, but I've heard it's just as effective to use hairspary and a lot cheaper.

However anything that works is illegal as it contravenes the Law which states that "you cannot in any way obscure the registration plate".

My p/plates were sprayed with it bout 6years or so ago when it first came out, dont no how well it works but ive never had a speed camera fine with them

An organisation I do some work for used to import a similar spray, I beleive they stopped carrying it as it was not effective. At the end of the day even if the spray did work [magically] as described it would be completely useless during the day when there is no flash used.....

There is only one effective solution in this space. There is a special type of perspex that will blur at a set angle. This stuff actually worked day or night in making your plate unreadable by cameras. It was obvious to Mr policeman on patrol though.

Radar Direct use to sell it, but due to some undue pressure, they stop stocking it.

There are sites on the net that reveiw these products, and yes some of them kinda work.......some. But I dont think any sprays work.

If I move to england this stuff would be good, because 90% of tickets over there are from photo radars.

You can also get some stuff on radar direct that makes it hard for the camera to get a reading, which gives you time to slow down. If you have a radar of course.

i know the guys that sell the stuff on trademe, it doesn't work, just blurrs it a bit, but still visible to the cameras
