What should I do with this Cressida?

Post by KinLoud »

Just couldn't help myself... always wanted one of these (sort of, I guess).
Now I am trying to work out what I might do with this?
NZ new, 3Litre 7MGE, auto, 220,000km.
Dereg :(, small dent on boot lid, bit of rust at top of windscreen.
Blown head gasket but runs well otherwise.

I could:
Sell it as is, fix HG and sell it, fix HG and rust and reregister it and sell it,
demo derby it, paddock bash it, turn it into another "Toyspeed Taxi", use it to learn how to drive on 2 wheels, drive it into a river, cut the roof off it, pimp it, burnouts.....
Post your suggestions or offers...

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

hey

Depending on how much it cost you, i wouldnt think it would be worth while putting anymore time and money into it.
Those cars are cheap at the best of times...

If it were me, id go for a 1uzfe and get it re registered.

they are quite nice cars really

nah, these look nice when they're done up, i say fix it up, 1jz-ge with vvti, and use as a nice family cruiser  have more class than the camry or the marino (sorry ken :P )

Yup! She'll be right up there with the Cefiro's ;)

Could actually be a fun drift car if you strip a lot of shit out. Not the most ideal, but still would be fun
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
