Hey does anyone know where the auto salon is and how much it is..? i haven't heard much about it this year...

its on this week end coming up 25-26 of march or close to it, at the queens wharf events centre i beleive

See all you boys and girls there than

were driving the corolla up early thur morning for its debut event in the north island

Dont be affard to say hi, cant miss the car, will be the only blue corolla at the show , with toyspeed stickers on the side windows

The show must have shrunk if they are going back to the event centre? Not as many people doing the bling thing anymore I think.

I havn't really heard much about it this year.. more about 2hot 2handle.. i think it has shrunk... I guess show cars are compared to 'rice' these days, rather than car enthusists.

There were alot of pretty pointless cars there last year. Half finished projects and a few road cars with 17s and not much else done to them. This year will hopefully be good.

Autosalon is a waste of time and money in Wellington now...
Wgtn gets shafted each year with being the first event of the season so all the cars are only at the beginning of things or they are the same thing you saw last year...

It'd be nice if they at least changed the venues for each round yearly so you could see the major cars at better stages of their build.

Plus mega $$$ compared to what you get at an event like 2hot2handle!

I would go along in the weekend but will be in the Naki pulling the bottom end apart on the bluetop along with stripping the g/box down in readyness for getting it on the road :wink:
