4age fuel issues
I have a blue top 4age in my ke25, it fires and runs for a few seconds then dies (runs out of gas as carrys on running with use of engine start) it is like only the cold start injector is working and it runs off that then once it stop it dies.
Is there any thing tha could be causing this?

um no fuel.... no power.... too much fuel, not enough fuel, tired battery and dead alternator....
could be many things, make a list and work through it, your probly gonna have to spend a while and check everything. Most likely the fuel pump is where to look, but who knows

check the the flow from the pump. It should gush out a mile a minute with the key on. Check condition of fuel filter.
Does it stall on idle? Will it sit on revs? What kind of sounds does it make when it dies? pop bang? Does it struggle and die? or just "nope no more run" Has it just started playing up or gradually? Have you had it running sweet?
Be very descriptive
cold start injectors only operate on cranking

Cold start injectors operate when cranking and when the water temp is below 35 degrees, thats what the brown water sensor is for.
Anyway seems like you have a shitty fuel pump, might want to replace it. Also could be a faulty MAP sensor. I know when I forget to plug it back in it has the same symptoms as yours.

No they only operate on cranking. Yes the brown sensor is a time control switch but only prevents injector pulsing on hot cranking compared to cold.
it is a cold start injector not cold RUN injector

Sounds more like a wiring problem with the fuel pump only pumping when its cranking. There a main relay somewhere that keeps power to the fuel pump once the motor has started and the key isn't in the START position isn't there? As a temporay measure, try wiring the fuel pump up with power all the time to check it out. Can't remember how it all works but basically had the same problem when I put the 20v into my AW.
See ya

I stand corrected. Kingcorolla is right

There is a common earth rail for all four primary injectors. You may find its a bad earth.
Or is the standard ECU injector trigger ground sourcing? In which case you are looking for a fault with a shared 12 volt line.
There is also a possibilty that flyback has destroyed the injector driver in the ECU.

The answer is Helmholtz!
