Spark plugs

Post by jiranz5 »

All Hail Chch :)

I'm heading up your way tomorrow (Tuesday) in a car needing new spark plugs. Are there any specials happening on iridium NGK's up that way I should be aware of?

Cheers

that's all well and fine but i'm coming in my dad's legacy. it's no fun changing sparks in a horizontally opposed engine and at 17-20 psi, we don't want to change them again in a hurry. I'd rather have good and cheap at the same time.

There are 4 iridium spark plugs on TM at the mo (dude registered in Chch) for $68 I think . . .

I can't be bothered searching for the exact auction, but have a look . . .

Wanaka = lifestyle for the win.

I'd live there, nice place, lots of nice roads close with great scenery 8)

Gee that extra $10 a week on gas is going to break the bank :) I was there at Easter time, checked out the New World, since im a manager at one here, prices obviously more expensive but not a huge difference to the stores here, maybe 10% more expensive overall, but the lifestyle and relaxed pace of life is worth it :)

Edit: thinking about the gas price thing, Wanaka isn't exactly large or busy traffic wise like CHCH can be, so the distance travelled in your car will possibly be alot less, it would possibly even out :)

I wouldn't say I was "living" in Wanaka, more like "Surviving". Seeing as i traveled to Waimate and back every weekend. (about 230kms each way over the Lindas Pass...fun!). That's all changed now with me being off work and all. I'm actually living in Waimate now...*reminds myself to change details*. Last time I looked fuel was $1.79.9 for 91octane and yea, I walked everywhere when I's able. At one point the only weekly fuel cost was the $70 to Waimate and back.

Oh, I have a Scottish heritage and have spent most of my life in Dunedin...Bargains galore
