How important is it to have an lsd gearbox with a fwd turbo 20v. Ive got a 1994 liftback corolla with a 4afe in it. I have a silvertop gearbox but will the axles and that gearbox be strong enough?

probly not. save yourself money in the long run and buy a gtz gearbox and shafts.
then if you're making any decent power invest in an aftermarket mechanical lsd , the factory viscous ones arent too bad , but most are tired and people ask stupid money for them. a decent lsd in a must if you want to be able to go anywhere, rather than spin a wheel everytime u touch boost. .

What about this?

I have no idea how much just an lsd box is worth, is that quite expensive?

You can get the heavy duty axles on non-LSD boxs, its a bit of mix and match, and if you want to know if its factory LSD look at the trans/axle code C5* -**B is LSD A is open
i like desprung :) it makes titties bounce!

c= lsd. not b.

c56 + s/s = lsd

have never seen an ae101 non s/c with lsd. or find any evidence of lsd on the epc.

Is that meant to mean superstrut, or a mistake meant to mean supercharged?

no, thats superstrut.
or, put another way which may be more accurate, ae111 with s/s = lsd.
ae101 gtz = lsd.
