body kit modifications- where to go?

Post by Bird »

Hey
I've got a full body kitted Estima (yeah yeah, people mover, i know! ). But anyway, the kit on it has had its fair share of bumps and scrapes and is now in need of a bit of a tidy up- fixing up cracks, a bit of repainting etc

Does anyone have any recommendations on good folks to go to around CHCH to do this?

cheers!

There is also a place right at the fitzgerald end of Lichfield St, Plastec i think they're called. Right next to specialised panel & paint. They specialise in fiberglass repairs & mods

not a brilliant idea. with an unknown quantity of repair work to do, you'll only get upset when you get the bill for far more than the phone quote. take it to them, get them to write down , or better still type up a list of sections you want repaired and get them to price it. take the same list to another shop to get a genuine comparison.
body repair companies are shocking for pricing a job and 'forgetting' to do stuff, and then claim it wasn't in the quote. it's to do with the chemicals and solvents they work with
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

sweet, thanks for all this!
Looks like i should just take it to both places and get them to look at it and give me an estimate of the work and the price.

thanks for the quick replies!
